January One Monthly Goal

Happy New Year! Thanks for joining me for another year of easy goal-setting and encouragement. Be sure to grab a button over in the side bar. The logo is slightly updated for 2024. :)

New to One Monthly Goal?  Welcome!  To join, share a photo of your project plus some words about what you want to accomplish in a blog post or Instagram post and add that photo to the link up.  Return at the end of the month and share your results.  (Results link up opens for the last 7 days of the month.)

I enjoyed reading about everyone's finishes for December. I wasn't able to comment on any Word Press blogs--it kept telling me I had to log in, but wouldn't let me create a log in. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My list of projects to be completed this month looks almost exactly the same as last month's--apply bias binding to daughter's jacket, make dress form, sew Log Cabin Stars blocks into a top, work on Grassy Creek. I had such high hopes for last month. While I did complete my OMG, I did very little sewing besides that. Well, I guess that's not entirely true--I made four Quilts for Kids quilts and shipped a total of eight quilts to that organization. I also did a small amount of sewing for holiday gifts. I just didn't do anything I'd hoped to do.

Anyway, my goal this month is to finish off the Grassy Creek top. That means sewing all outer borders on and also two of the inner borders. Wish me luck!

Now it's your turn to set a goal.

The One Monthly Goal accomplishment link up will be available on January 25.  Make sure you add a link to this OMG post so others can find the OMG link up from your blog--just paste this link into your post:

  2. Technology is wonderful - when it works. I dug into the settings on my WordPress Account. I changed the settings so you shouldn't even need to give your name and email. Hope that helps in the future. And good luck in finishing your OMG - and a few other items. I feel vested in your quilt at this point. :)

  4. Oops, looks like maybe I didn't finish linking my (Jan 2) post up? But I still have my goal! A busy month here so not much time for sewing (plus my main sewing machine is in for its yearly visit/tuning) but hopefully I'll still get it done. See everyone at the end of the month!
