July One Monthly Goal

Join us in choosing a goal to work towards this month.

New to One Monthly Goal?  Welcome!  To join, share a photo of your project plus some words about what you want to accomplish in a blog post or Instagram post and add that photo to the link up.  Return at the end of the month and share your results.  (Results link up opens for the last 7 days of the month.)

My goal this month is to bind my Beach Bumz quilt.

My secondary goals are to bind my dino quilt, sew my Athena bag, and perhaps sew an article of clothing or quilt my purple whole cloth bed quilt (this requires pressing 20 yards of washed fabric though 😳).

Now it's your turn to link up. The link up will remain open through July 7.

The One Monthly Goal accomplishment link up will be available on July 25.  Make sure you add a link to this OMG post so others can find the OMG link up from your blog--just copy and paste this link into your post:

  1. Anne-Marie, This is a cry in something like desperation and frustration. After a break from posting altogether I tried to link up in January last year, but failed. Because I couldn't remember your name or the name of the website that was that. I just found you again via one of you contributors, but still can't copy the link successfully. What am I doing wrong?
I would be very grateful if you or one of your readers could help me.

  3. Thank you for the link! Your quilt is lovely, and will be even better with the binding.

  4. Your Beach Bumz quilt turned out GORGEOUS, Anne-Marie! I love the way you custom quilted the center. Hope you are staying safe indoors out of the crazy blistering heat this weekend. This is good weather for staying inside and sewing in our underwear. ;-)

  5. Binding a couple quilts is a very doable goal. I've been wanting to sew clothes too, but the summer is so busy. Good luck!

I've linked up above; I finally remembered how to do it!

  7. Hi Anne-Marie, I hope that you get your Beach Bumz quilt bound, and maybe some of your secondary projects? I'm sorry to be re-using my post to link up. I haven't written about my Rainbow Neighbourhood quilt since then and Thursday will be too late!
